The Master Builders Association of Pierce County (MBAPC) is a professional trade association serving the residential construction industry in Pierce County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to support builders, remodelers, and industry partners through advocacy, education, workforce development, networking, and community engagement.
We recognize that every member’s relationship with our association is unique. Whether you are accessing member resources, attending events, participating in educational programs, applying for scholarships, or engaging in advocacy initiatives, we use the information you provide to deliver, maintain, and improve our Services and to support a strong residential construction industry.
When we use the terms “MBAPC,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this Privacy Notice, we are referring to the Master Builders Association of Pierce County and its programs, councils, initiatives, and affiliated nonprofit entities, unless otherwise stated.

When we use the terms “Services” or “offerings,” we are referring to the websites, applications, programs, and services that link to this Privacy Notice and that we operate on our own behalf, including:

- Membership services, including applications, renewals, communications, and benefit administration
- Event registration and participation, including meetings, trainings, conferences, and networking events

Our mobile application may be made available through third-party distribution platforms, including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Information collected through our mobile application is processed in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
Please note that Apple and Google may independently collect information related to your download or use of our mobile application, subject to their own privacy policies and practices. MBAPC does not control and is not responsible for the data collection or privacy practices of these third-party platforms.
SMS Communication Disclosure
Master Builders Association of Pierce County (MBA Pierce County) sends SMS messages to individuals who register as members on its official website (https://masterbuilderspierce.com) and provide their phone number with explicit consent to receive communications. These messages are used to keep members informed about association-related updates, including upcoming events, meetings, announcements, and other relevant organizational activities. Message frequency varies depending on events and updates. Recipients can opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP.
What This Privacy Notice Does Not Cover
This Privacy Notice does not apply to:
- Third-party websites, applications, or services that may be linked through our Services, which are governed by their own privacy policies
- Disclosures or rights provided under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), where applicable
