Master Builders Pierce County held its annual President’s Gala and Member Recognition Awards on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at Marriott Tacoma Downtown. Presented by Parr Lumber, this is a special event for Master Builders Association of Pierce County. Not only does the event celebrate the installation of 2022 Board of Directors and leadership, it also recognizes outstanding members. The President\u2019s Gala is a night where we can say thank you and farewell to the outgoing Master Builders President Corey Watson of JK Monarch, and welcome the incoming President Dan Garber of Redline Services Group.<\/p>\n
During the event we welcomed one of this year’s Master Builders Pierce County scholarship winners<\/a> to share her goals and experiences. Scholarship winner Elena Lizarazo delivered an incredible speech. She is currently attending Pierce College and studying construction management.\u00a0 We enjoyed hearing how the Master Builders Association of Pierce County is able to support students in their pursuit of education<\/a> and a successful future in the building industry.<\/p>\n The evening\u2019s \u201cDessert Dash\u201d sponsored by AAA KARTAK Glass & Closet Corp. and Phase II General Contractor is a way for the association to raise funds for our program’s that support students pursuing a future in the industry<\/a>. This year the association raised over $18,000 to go toward the program in 2022. We would like to thank all of our members for their generous contributions and support.<\/p>\n The Master Builders Association of Pierce County wouldn\u2019t be such a successful and valuable community without the participation, involvement, and sponsorship of its incredible members. Additional criteria is also judged specific to each award, in addition to the level of Master Builders Pierce County involvement for each member.
